I just might win the worst mother of the year award by confessing this.
Why has it taken me 2 years 9 months and some-odd days to figure this out?
How did Dax age years right before my eyes?
Why did I shed a tiny tear when I dressed him for Church today?
And why, why, did no one ever tell me this is the way to "accessorize" with little boys?
What one tiny thing could do all this?
A tie. A tie!
He was wearing his first tie. And my obsession begins.

He looks so stinkin' cute, and your right, it does make him look so grown up too! You got some really great pictures at the beach also. And I thought about you on your birthday... it sounds like it was another good one at the beach! There is actually another set of twins that go to my kids doctor who shares your birthday(and Marc and Matt's) as well... it must have been a special day for twins.

Luckily I have not found anything that makes me think Madison is all grown up...Thank goodness ties are for boys!

that is the most handsome picture i've ever seen of Dax. That is one worth blowing up and framing for life! He's gorgeous Bryn and I cant believe how much he looks like you! Wow! He's such an adorable kid, inside and out! You guys have done good!!!
And he seriously looks stinkin cute in it too!! I hear ya. I love vests on little boys, but somehow every time I put Tanner in a tie my heart does a little skip. So cute! Even ties with cute vests are a favorite of mine now. It is so true. These boys are growing up right before our eyes. I sure love being a Mom. What could be better?
