why?

Kids eat funny things, would you say? Dirt, bugs, food off the floor, sand, play dough, dare I say boogers (gross), scabs from owies (even grosser), chalk, crayons, grass, glue, their hair...so many different, crazy things. Why, oh why do they like to gross their mothers out like this? After I found Wyatt with a face full of crayon shavings and every color of the rainbow on his teeth I decided I needed to get inside the head of a two year old and figure out what on earth possess this child to eat such random, crazy, should-be-nowhere-near-your-mouth kinds of things because I just can't figure it out. So I ask him, "Why did you eat those crayons (the extra splurge on Lightening McQueen ones I might add). We don't eat crayons." His brilliant answer? "Because I wanted to mommy."

There you have it. Can't argue with that.

And I didn't.

Look at the difference between your last post picture and these ones! Holy cow! So happy about your new camera! Bring it with you, okay. They look great! And it's like Joe says, they wouldn't make crayons dangerous because everyone knows kids eat them. It's perfectly safe. Tell Wyatt to enjoy! ;)

Oh, it is just so so true. And then why are some of the dinners we fix not good? That is what I want to know :) Happy day to cute little boys. Sounds like you got a new camera. Fun fun.

I'm cracking up! This is hilarious. I can honestly say that my kiddos have yet to eat anything like glue or crayons, but I have a sneaky suspicion that Brody will. He was my toilet kid, just loved to swirl and swoosh his hands in the toilet. Yeah, tell me how a crayon tastes better than the food they dislike most, hmmm. I don't know, but when I was little I secretly ate dog food all the time. Really, did I just admit that?

Who can argue with those big beautiful eyes or sweet face?

i love it! when we go out to eat and they give you a kid's menu with crayons, lincoln will pretend to drop something under the table and take a crayon with him so he can stick it in his mouth without being discovered.
